Why partner with us for fundamental data?

Faster integration, flexible display rights, modern technology – here are eight reasons to get fundamentals from Intrinio

1. We cut your time to implementation.

We take new clients from an initial consultation to a free proof-of-concept trial period in days, not weeks – with personalized pricing provided within two business days.

Faster evaluation periods save everyone money. Combined with our SDKs, world-class documentation, and support from dedicated customer success and technical teams, we get you up and running quickly.

2. Our service is absurd.

We treat our clients like partners and invest in your long-term success. We assign you a dedicated customer success manager, provide technical assistance to guide you through integration, and make our experts available to you via chat, phone, and email.

We perform custom development work, convert complex solutions into simple language, and undertake marketing initiatives to promote your platform. This relentless focus on customer success means you never have to navigate the complex world of financial data alone.

3. We offer display rights with no per-user fees.

Since we create our own fundamental datasets, we have full flexibility in allowing you to display the data in applications to internal or external end-users.

We invest in your success by eliminating the technical and operational overhead that comes with display fees, per-user fees, and other complex licensing restrictions. Our straightforward pricing allows you to be profitable as you grow.

4. We save you the challenge of going directly to the SEC.

Can you manually get as-reported, raw, non-standardized fundamentals for free on the SEC website? Sure! But it’s taken us the better part of a decade and sizable investments in development to extract, transform, standardize, and deliver the SEC’s “public” data into a systematic and reliable format.

We built our proprietary XBRL Standardizer to enable direct comparisons across companies and fiscal periods and to control costs and human error by eliminating manual mapping. Within 30 minutes of a company filing a new 10-Q or 10-K, that data is in your hands in an easy-to-consume format.

5. Data quality matters to us – a lot.

With hundreds of data points, tens of thousands of companies, and 10+ years of history, data quality issues are inevitable. We use accounting-based rules, machine learning, and a team of experts to proactively check for errors.

To resolve anything our system doesn’t catch, all clients have access to our built-in ticketing system for technical and data quality issues as well as chat, email, and phone support from customer success managers. We keep clients up to date on their ticket status and work hard to resolve issues promptly.

6. We deliver the most value.

There are deeply discounted ways to license fundamental data, but these low-cost solutions sacrifice quality, transparency, and service. We have competitive prices for superior quality and service.

What sets us apart? Higher data quality, better service, faster turnarounds, and easier integrations. No one else provides a similar fundamental data product with our full complement of services at a lower total cost of ownership.

7. We have great technology.

Maybe your team runs on Linux servers and works in Ruby. Perhaps you prefer to write SQL against a database. We’ve been at the forefront of the fintech revolution for years and have developed the traditional and cutting-edge capabilities that businesses need.

We’ve taken the pain out of data sourcing so you can focus on analysis rather than obtaining data. The tools and expertise we’ve built over the years are unmatched by other providers.

8. We care about your business.

Our team cares deeply about what we do, and what you do. We’re invested in your business, and we want to see you succeed. That’s not just a platitude; you’ll see it in every interaction with us, from your first consultation to your ten millionth API call.

From account managers who are proactive about client success to developers who work late into the night to improve our data quality, we grind day in and day out so you don’t have to worry about your data.

What is Intrinio?

Intrinio is a full-service financial data technology partner. We help businesses of all sizes license financial data such as market data and fundamentals into their internal or public-facing applications.

We grow with you, investing in your success with a dedicated customer success team, marketing services, and responsive technical support. From our data sourcing program to our integration support to our modern access methods and beyond, we take the pain out of your financial data experience.

What can Intrinio do for me?

We provide real-time, intraday, EOD, and historical market data; real-time and delayed US options data; and standardized and as-reported US fundamentals, supplemented with company metadata, news, IPO information, insider transactions and ownership, and institutional holdings. We can also leverage our extensive partner network to match you with providers for other datasets like international market data, ETF data, mutual funds, and analyst estimates.

Our data is available through flexible delivery mechanisms tailored to your needs, including our powerful, easy-to-use Web API, WebSocket API, CSV downloads, FTP, Snowflake direct database access, and AWS. Plus, you’ll get built-in ticketing, US-based chat and email support, and developer assistance to make integration as smooth as possible.

What is a consultation?

We encourage prospective Intrinio customers to request a consultation with our team. A consultation is a 10- to 20-minute call with one of our sales development representatives.

We ask a few questions about your business, timeline, and data needs. The consultation ensures that Intrinio is a good fit for your business before we move forward.

Why would I want one?

Intrinio has matched thousands of clients with the right financial data. A consultation puts that expertise to work for you. It’s a simple way to find out if Intrinio can provide the right data, format, licensing, and coverage for your use case.

You’ll want a consultation if you:
a) have a serious business need for financial data, and
b) don’t want to spend days sifting through marketing material and technical jargon.

What happens after a consultation?
  1. If we can help your business, we schedule a 30- to 60-minute follow-up call with our product specialists to begin developing your customized solution architecture.

  2. After the sales call, we send a proposal detailing the solution architecture discussed with associated pricing.

  3. Once you sign off on the proposal, we set up a 2-week trial period. Our CTO hosts an initial trial kick-off call to help your technical team get started and is available to answer all of your questions over the trial period.

  4. If you confirm during the trial that our solution meets your needs, you'll simply need to sign the contract to begin our long-term partnership.

  5. Our customer success team facilitates account creation and begins with the official onboarding process.

  6. We provide ongoing support via:

    • a ticketing system for technical issues and US-based live chat
    • direct email and phone access to your customer success manager
    • technical support from our CTO and engineering staff
    • data sourcing services from our business development manager
    • marketing and promotional initiatives with our marketing team
