Inside Salesperson

General Description

Intrinio has too much coffee and needs a closer to help drink it. If you are comfortable in a fast-paced environment where the sales team gets more inbound leads than it can handle, come on down. Your job will be to chat with users and visitors to our website, identify the enterprise prospects, and work with them until they are ready to sign on the line which is dotted. We sell financial data to developers via API, so a capacity for technical concepts is a must.


Essential Responsibilities

  • Keeps CRM up to date with deal activities, contacts, organizations, and forecasting fields
  • Covers chat support to generate leads and assist users
  • Qualifies/Disqualifies leads to generate prospects
  • Guides prospects through the sales process to convert them to customers
  • Transitions customers to customer success team
  • Generates and presents proposals, contracts, and other sales documents
  • Meets with prospects in person, on phone, and over the internet

Job Qualifications

  • Strong background with sales basics such as identifying prospects, qualifying leads, managing a pipeline in a CRM
  • Advanced communication skills for building relationships, asking questions, and overcoming objections
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that includes chatting with users and completing sales tasks as well as meetings and generating quotes
  • Strong desire to learn fintech concepts surrounding financial data, APIs, and related technologies
  • Education and Experience Requirements: Direct sales/marketing experience in finance related industry
